All you need is a little time and the ability to not drink to many beers while cooking it. Our packages can make your own Pig Roast super easy whether it be DIY or we do it for you, and at prices starting at $150 that are competitive and reasonable. 
 
Our DIY package is set up to take the difficulties of finding everything you need to have a successful Pig Roast. You can also choose a few options to make things even easier. Our pig roaster rental is a charcoal Smoker/Roaster delivering optimal flavour. Smoke chips can add a little smoke flavour to the roast. It is also rated for up to a 60lb pig and includes the rotisserie with leg clamps, strong enough to make consistent rotations regardless of weight required to create a perfect, even roast and is light enough to place anywhere you want to carryout the project.

Roasting Kit (Includes: 1 Propane Torch and Bottle, 1 Stainless Serving Tray, 1 Digital Meat Thermometer, 1 Pair of Heat Resistant Gloves, 1 Pair of Bear Claws for meat tearing, 1 Large Black Garbage Bag, 1 package of Needles for sewing the torso (if you so choose), 1 Ratchet for tightening leg clamps, 1 Extension Cord, 1 cup of Smoking chips, 1 Apple juice and 1 injector, 1 Heathen Smokehouse Pork Rub Spice Package, 1 pair of Salt and pepper shakers, 1 Bottle of Prepared Mustard).

A few things you should consider would be that a 50lb pig delivers an average of 8oz of pork per person which will serve approximately up to 40 guests depending on the eaters. Cost of a suckling pig up to 50lbs is $230.00

If you are interested in any of our roasting packages, you must order a pig at least a week in advance to obtain the set price. Any order within a week will be subject to a price increase and availability. **Please indicate the required date(s) in the order notes.**

The roaster is a charcoal roaster and will require 3 bags of charcoal in order to get the heat/coals hot enough to begin the roast, and then another bag of charcoal every hour to maintain the cook for a 7–8-hour roasting period.

We can supply the charcoal at our costs or they can be picked up yourself at any hardware/BBQ store.

Remember, low and slow is the way to go. Its a long day so keep the beers cold!!

A damage deposit of $150.00 is required for Roaster/Smoker rental and any damaged items but will be returned to you once returned unharmed.

Delivery and retrieval fees are set at and additional $35.00 and may increase for long distances. **Please contact if outside of the General Greater Victoria area.**

You are welcome to clean the Roaster/ Smoker yourselves if you like, or, we'll clean it for you to save time, getting dirty and effort. Cleaning fee is set at $50.00

If you are having to do the roast on an ugly BC day, we have a 10x10 pop up tent with 3 side walls and a zip up front door. Rental available at the cost of $50.00
